Being chosen as the photographers for any couples' wedding is a big deal for us. We value the relationships we make with our clients and love to continue to keep in touch with them, long after their big day has come and gone. This day is such a special occasion, you don't just invite anyone - and the same can be said about inviting a vendor to work with you on your big day.

In this particular case, I (James) had already built a relationship with the groom long before he was even engaged. Pat and I go back a little more than 9 years, having worked together in the automotive industry for a good 8 of those years. Heck.. you may be looking at these pictures and even recognizing Pat "Crazy" Blasi - but that story is for a different day.

When Pat approached me about photographing his surprise proposal to Suzie, there was no way I could turn him down. He's one of the most caring and genuine men I've ever had the pleasure of getting to know (and I'm saying this about a car salesman, so that truly puts this in perspective). So after I spent an afternoon with Pat, his new fiancé, and their families, there was no question about whether or not I wanted to work with them all on their wedding day!

To both Pat & Suzie, from both my wife and I - we wish you all the best in this new chapter in your lives. It is an exciting time for you both and an absolute honor to have been present for two wonderful events in your lives.
